Trump is trying to get the state election boards to send him their voter data.
Then, he will send the data to Putin, so the Russians won't have to waste their resources hacking into the state data bases that they don't already have.
Trump wants to be a dictator for life (like Putin), too, and he thinks the Russians can show him how to change the US govt.

That's a good one! Almost as good as when DJT met w Putin and they both lied to each other about neither believing in Russian interference in the election and the lack of collusion by the DJT campaign.
The purpose of the meeting was for DJT to drop-off a payment for the money (w/o CIA observation) that Russia loaned him for his campaign expenses.
Trump is running scared that the FBI will be able to follow the money trail. (Hence his love for Flynn and his fear of Comey and Mueller.) The Trumps have been laundering money from the Russian mofia/gov't. (They're linked to the hilt.) That's against the law in the US. DJT wl go down as the biggest crook ever.
And he's conned so many people...

Anyway, let's just see what Mueller and his elite headhunters uncover. Few will argue that shady and unethical tactics are inherent in politics. History has shown as much for both U.S. political parties and throughout the world.
Criminal actions have to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. That is a much higher hurdle.
Funny how some folks wanted to lock Clinton up. Now others want to lock up DJT or members of his posse. All are innocent until proven guilty - especially when the accused has the money. Just ask OJ. Time will tell.
Personally I would lock them all up .... or flush the toilet and get the stench out of D.C. (Draining the swamp is too kind.)

According to Trump Jr's Sunday statement, he,Manafort and Kushner had a meeting with a Russian National for the express purpose of accepting damaging information on Clinton.
We can only take the man at his word.
The earth is not flat. It's kinda ovalish.
