Next Year's SCar game
Jan 14, 2021, 10:51 AM

This may have been addressed already, but will next year's game be in Columbia as originally scheduled (and we lose a home game vs. them) or will they set it back on track and make it a Clemson home game? Does anybody know? TIA

that was in favor of playing the OOC rival game in the 2020 season.
however that was prior to them going 2-8 and being in the complete dumpster fire they're in now, but still.

about 63-17 is that no Coot anywhere over the years has brought up that it "should have only been" 56-17. Chansi Stuckey was not supposed to shred them for that long run at the end, it was an accident.

SCar only voted for SEC OOC games to look good on the record!
That SCar vote to play an OOC game wad like a vote in Congress from a representative in a district that’s composed mostly of voters not of his party. When a bill comes up that’s going to pass anyway but would be unpopular in his district, he can vote against it knowing it will pass anyway and still look good to his district. “See, my vote against this shows I was solidly with my constituents!”
So, Scar could look like “we really wanted to play Clemson” and easily vote to allow OOC games, knowing that had NO CHANCE of SEC approval. If the vote had been tied and SCar had the deciding vote, how would they have voted? Otherwise their vote didn’t mean diddly squat!
Go Tigers!

Cooterville. Tickets should be easy and cheap. Let's make it solid Orange!

It will be in Columbia. Too many collateral impacts to disrupt the schedule and move it.

Maybe we can double up the 1989 game and make it 98-0.

Mot sure why this is being asked. Our schedules are set years in advance where we have seven home games per year. Playing in Clemson next year would give us 8 home games in 21 and 6 in 22 with the same 8 to 6 home games in out years. Nobody wants the unbalanced schedule so we will be in Billy Brice next November paying homage to the $1MM chicken statue and beating the brakes off the coots

I say schedule them twice next year... drop the SC State

game and have them come to CU the week after UGA and then at their place to end the season. Its rare but teams have scheduled playing each other twice in a regular season before.

They have an away game at East Carolina they could drop the same day as Clemson's home game against SC State. This would fit
