Losing wasn't a big deal. A friend of mine that's a ND fan expected them to lose. But giving up 34 straight points and not even looking like a top 10 team was a very bad look. Indeed, we are better than them. But looking downright uncompetitive after the first 5-6 mins

My friend believes ND will be left out of the CFP because of the blowout. I asked him does ND need to play Alabama and endure another CFP curb-stomping.

I am not so sure that we are the only team that Bama would not curb stomp. And we would need to bring the A game and score ALLOT.

Don't agree, our defense is better than what I have seen from the Alabama competition. We will need our secondary to step up against Smith though, he is special. Shame we didn't get him at wru.
