I applied to SC in fall of 81. Had to write a paragraph on why I wanted to go to usc(made up some bs). Mailed it on a Monday and recd the acceptance letter that Friday.

I did not/would not apply to SCar. Got accepted anyway. My sophomore year at Clemson I got a letter from SCar telling me it was time to start thinking about a major. I must have had a great scholarship since they failed to notice I wasn't paying them any tuition.
