I always had respect for Jack but agreed that it appeared our program had stalled and fresh blood may help to revitalize the once proud program. Lee may be a great choice but I must admit that I am a bit underwhelmed at least by the resume to some degree. Sure, he had done some really good things at the COC. Their past few seasons have been better than ours. But you push out a HOF coach for what appears to be a pretty good up and comer? Its likely I don't have all the story. I don't know his personality and I have not even seen him coach a game. He may be highly impressive and I certainly hope so. Just on paper it looks like a good situation and not an unbelievably great one. I look forward to being set straight.

Every coaching change brings risk. Lee has earned this opportunity. Either he'll be the guy or he'll be gone in four years. Time will tell. I am pretty excited about it myself. Go Tigers!!!!

Very few teams have been as good as Clemson's the last few years.

I don't know how many years the op meant by "few years" but he mentions lee and coc so im guessing since 2009.
