Laughter May Be The Best Medicine, But....

sometimes it's at the expense of some of us senior citizens.

I have a cousin in California who always sends me tidbits and jokes about some of us who happen to have passed the age of 39 and headed downhill over the other side of a steep mountain. Without further ado, here we go.

"I thought growing old would take longer".

"I knew I was doing a lot of walking but just recently discovered most of it was to the bathroom".

"I haven't lost my mind. Half of it just wandered off and the other half went looking for it".

"How many more of these THIN MINTS do I have to eat before I start seeing results?.

"Growing old is hard work. The mind says "yes" but the body says, "What the heXX are you thinking"?



And for a couple of tidbits totally unrelated to aging ----

Why did the cows return to the marijuana field? It was the pot calling the cattle back.

Sometimes the first step toward forgiveness is realizing the other person was born an idiot.
