Just went and filled my car up with gas.

No waiting. There were a lot of other people there filling up too. Cashier said there were a lot of people buying gas this week.
Felt pretty good afterwards but we will see how I feel tomorrow. Have to go back in 10-15 days for 2nd fill-up so fingers crossed.

Exxon? I've found that so far, my car has been running like normal but my sister's cousin-in-law filled up at the QT and then the next day BOOM, flat tire and no A/C. I've heard the second fill up is more likely to cause a small air leak in your tires for a couple of days.

Funny when I bought my house and the real estate agent was telling me how a house was such a great investment.
I probably would have came out $15k better if I had rented over that 5 yr time frame.

Even if you outright own your house, stop paying your property taxes and see how long you get to stay in it.
So far, I've really enjoyed renting. I doubt I could afford the house or even the lot if I was buying it, but I still get to live here. And it is freeing knowing that if the A/C compressor locks up in mid July and throws metal shards into the evaporator core, someone else is paying for the new AC system. Or if the raccoons that have taken up residence in the palm tree next to the house decide they want to move in the attic and chew up $5k of the roof, insulation and wiring moving in, I'm just going to stand around and say "man, that sucks" while someone else fixes it.
And the best part is that if for whatever reason, if I don't want to be here anymore, I can pack up tomorrow and be gone by Saturday. No worries--the owner will have it rented by next week, probably for more money what I'm giving him.
I'll buy a primary residence house again some day, but I'm not in a big hurry to do it.

I got a call from a friend with an Ingles card, said he had $0.30 off a gallon I could use for my boat since he's not using it. Think I'm going to take him up on it!!! Hate to see those savings to go waste.

I have $1.00/gallon off coming up for a tank of diesel. All for just buying groceries.
It is a BP station though, so it's already upcharged about $.30/gallon.

Don't want it getting out to the masses and all...But Lake Hartwell Fishing store there in front of Portman had non ethanol cheaper than regular E87 at QT this week. I don't think they've updated their prices yet.

Based on the increase boat traffic, I expect that won't be the case for long. That store seems like it's about 20 years behind current time though, so maybe they'll keep it low for awhile.

They're probably selling fuel that they bought 2-3 months ago and haven't updated pricing based on new rack.
