Not to take anything away from the OSU D, they are the best D we'll play all year. But, this being the first time we've had to deal with a coach leaving and splitting time between 2 jobs. It could be a small contributor to why the Offense looked out of sync early on.
Again ,OSU D played lights out, but I say all this to ask a question. Is Jeff splitting time between Clemson/USF for the next 14 days or is all his time focused on Clemson ?

I think Higgins missing pretty much the entire 1st half combined with Ohio State having a really good defense was more responsible than anything.

Starting slow has been our thing for some time. It's just that this year the competition was so bad that starting slow often still meant scoring 21 in the 1Q. Honestly it is nice for Jeff to even stay on at all after accepting the other job. Not everyone would bother.

From what I gathered when his taking the job was announced was, he was taking that first week to be at USF, then he is with us til we are done.
I know LSU has given up some scores, but they aren’t all that bad. They can be a smothering type D in spurts also. This is a very intriguing game. I can’t wait too see this one.

Great question. I’m wondering the same. But he grew up here, got married here, had his kids here...he’s loyal to Clemson and Dabo. I would think he’ll give as close to 100% as he can
