to their irrelevant posts? Just ignore them and move on to one of our fellow tnetters. Enabling them is pointless and gives them reason to continue doing so

Surely it depends on their post.

If it's just a trolling exercise, then ignore it. But if they are making valid comments, then why not interact with them. Surely genuine debate, and good natured banter is part of the sport's fan experience.

and this is an appropriate place to do it. I’m not a loudmouth, trash talking annoying fan that gives our fan base a bad name. I talk a little smack with people who can take a joke and enjoy it. If they troll our board they are fair game for trash talk whether they like it or not. It’s all in fun for me and never personal.
