I was having a beer at The Shelter the other day and (3) late 20's-mid 30's aged dudes were wearing their ball caps on backwards while they were trying to talk to some younger mid-20's aged girls.
I asked my wife at what age guys should stop doing that. She said right about the time they should quit wearing football jerseys..which is about 11-12 years old.

Did you dump all your cargo shorts in favor of pastel short-shorts like clemsonrulez? I mean, they're shorts...with pockets on the side. I have plenty of shorts without pockets on the side, too. I wear them all, because I wasn't aware of what a huge fashion faux paux it was to wear shorts that have pockets on the sides in my 40s. WHAT WILL PEOPLE THINK? HOW WILL I EVER GET LAID WEARING STUFF LIKE THAT?

They're basically jean shorts with the legs still attached. It'd be helpful if you could provide a How To Dress guide for us 40-somethings. It's very confusing out there, never knowing when I might get made fun of for a random pocket or two, and I know I can count on the fashion mavens in the Lounge to properly guide me. You live in a college town, so you know firsthand what all the hipster kids are wearing. Do I need some skinny jeans? Oh, wait, long-sleeve button up shirts tucked into pastel shorts with the sleeves rolled up! Is Charleston wear acceptable at Clemson, or frowned upon?
