no pun intended, but in case you woke up under a rock today, the jury didn't buy that it was worth $2k let alone $100k.

liked the punishment associated with a more appropriate valuation of the rock. We probably would've been talking about multiple years in jail had the sentencing been in line with the actual value. I believe it would've fallen into the grand larceny > $10k or malicious damage to property > $10k and both carry up to 10 years.
