If Watson is healthy. GT will have 3 losses, and potentially 4 if they lose acccg. We should be ranked higher.
Duke won't go over us with 3+ losses.

Don't see that happenings. If we win out our best chance will be Orlando , they pick before Peach bowl. I see Orlando or Atlanta.

They have to take the highest-ranked ACC team available. It's possible Duke will be ranked higher than Clemson.

I think A Clemson win vs SCar where Watson plays the whole game moves us above Duke in the rankings. The committee has actually been ranking teams by how the look on the field. A win with Watson at the helm will play us into contention. Not to mention Duke might just lose to UNC this weekend.

Guys, just accept where we are and what we've got to work with and be thankful for any bowl. This teams overall effort and heart makes them deserving of a great bowl but our record limits that. I was Squeamish about the back door entrance into the OB by FSU going to the Playoff, I am certainly not entertaining the idea of the OB in light of what's transpired the last several weeks. Let's get a bowl game we can build positive momentum going into 2015.

If the ACC Champion goes to the playoffs, the highest-ranking ACC team replaces the ACC Champion in the Orange Bowl.

They use their own poll by which they make their selection. I'm not saying these guys would screw anybody or favor a particular team but they may use their own discretion to get the 'best two teams,' on the field.
After all that, I'm not saying we make the OB but if the POC thinks Clemson will be a better team postseason than either dook or the geeks we might get the nod.
I don't think we've proven we're a better team than GT or Duke so far. We'd have to make a huge impression on the POC for this to happen. I think we have the talent, coaching and scheme but who knows which Clemson team will show up?

Right now I'm just hoping for a win against USuCk. I just don't want to stress-out the football gods or appear greedy to them. If we find favor with them we'll go back with the OB request while they are full of themselves and who knows?

We have to win out of course. But very possible we end around 22-25th bc of our great defense, and Duke and GaTech not ranked.
