respects, Dabo. Maybe because he thinks it's a lock that he will be Bama's next coach. He did say that he would have no problem if a son of his played for Dabo.

The funny thing he has done over the years is his new love affair with Alabama. If I recall, he started out on the radio in Alabama and had the "stones" to attack Alabama every chance he could. That infuriated most of the state but he got major press, be it good or bad, out of it.

Those that used to listen to his radio show correct me if I am wrong.

As a sports journalist for the Birmingham news back during the late nineties and following. most of his articles were antagonistic attacks on anyone or any program or conference involving college sports.... just to stir people up which worked, people are attracted to that stuff. From news paper to radio to TV....He climbed rather fast. I think he's actually don Knott's son.lol
