I was told a couple years ago by a guy who works for ESPNU

that ESPN has a list of schools that they prefer for day games based off of ease of travel.

He said Clemson was near the top of the list, along with a couple other schools, including Notre Dame.

Not sure if that factors into getting day games all the time.

It doesn't matter what the reasons really are. It still sucks to the max!!! Out of Seven home games, two night games isn't going to break or make who ever the broadcasters are.

ND has fans all over the nation. I imagine when they play at Stanford for instance, the people that go to the games are not only in Northern California or South Bend, IN.

honest, I believe him. Not sure why he mentioned Notre Dame but he did talk about the travel schedule and said they have a preffered gametimes list.
