Those of you with Spectrum, are they really that bad?

or did I just get some ###### customer service reps?
All I needed was prices to see what I wanted to do.
Got transferred 4 times. Was told that they would call me back in 5 minutes so they could find the answer to my question (about prices?). Called back 5 minutes later to put me back on hold for 5 minutes.
Finally got some prices. Asked which internet download speed package that was, girl on the other end scoffed and hung up.

ACC Network in their list on line. While the lady I spoke with on the phone was nice enough, she did have a hard time finding this information. The also didn't believe me that there wasn't a single coax jack in the whole house, thus no way for me to self install. After those hiccups, we have been golden.

Get YouTube TV or G T F O. Trust me on this. It's like $70 a month, you get all the college football you need, it has NFL RedZone for a small add-on price, it's got Paramount for Yellowstone (you better be watching this) and you can watch anywhere on your devices.
That, and you can set a custom channel line-up. You can rearrange your channels how you see fit, and you can turn off channels you don't use. Telemundo stuff? Bye. Bad reality TV channels? See ya. Fox News? Eat a ####.
Plus, it's specific to your account. So I can set up my log-in for all my football and movie stuff, while my wife sets up her line-up to catch all her Real Housewives and other reality BS.
And yes, they have ACC Network.

really saving much cash IRL cause you will likely still have netflix/hulu whatever. But no charge for the box, unlimited recording, etc. Lots of pluses.

Yep, the lack of boxes or any other customer service BS is nice.
We previously were on DirecTV and paid through the nose for NFL stuff, which also always involved me having to talk to someone in India every fall because they messed up our account. Once even had a DirecTV person in India try to explain NFL blackout rules to me when they had a technical screw up and blocked the Detroit/Cowboys playoff game that was so good years ago.
We have had 0.0 hiccups with YouTube TV since cutting the cord, and it doesn't go out in a thunderstorm.

the costs a good bit, and the added channels they put on to justify it were not ones that I would watch. Luckily, you can watch on multiple devices so me and ex-tkshe just split the cost.

We jumped in when it was like $55 a month, and last year, they upped it to $70. But they also added new channels.
I don't mind it. Still better than cable or dish and I get everything I need without having to sift through crap.

Is they dropped local fox sports (now Bally Sports, or some other name). I can't watch Canes games without logging into my dads Spectrum account.

I really like the Dish package we have plus the option that when you record something you can watch it on any tv in the house.
Spectrum cable will cost more and whatever I record in the bedroom has to be watched in the bedroom.
Spectrum tv and internet bundled will end up being $60 more than Dish and spectrum internet.

They've increased our water bill to pay for a brand new city hall that we didn't need.
The money from the water department are the only thing keeping us solvent according to a recent audit.

However, that was because they had to bury a line during the initial install. The Boone folks have been great.
