None of his anti-Clemson rants are designed to get Clemson to lose a particular game. He knows that is not the way it works and would be silly. His ani-Clemson propaganda is designed to do damage to the Clemson brand, ultimately leading to damaging recruiting. Make Clemson and Dabo seem bad enough, keep banging the drum and Clemson recruiting may be hurt, therefore bringing an end to this run. It is a realistic goal when you have the power of the mic every day of the week.

After a #4 ranking nationally, I guess the tv man with a face for radio can see the fruits of his anti-Clemmson labor. THis is the one day each year that he can actually see how big of an impact he has in that regard. THe answer is zero impact. He missed this year, just like all previous years. Better luck next year Finebaum. In fact, since he started his slamming of Clemson about three years ago, recruiting has never been better!
