a ring for the sole reason of having a built-in excuse to not give one to Josh Belk as well?
That has got to be the reason why, because there is without a doubt no other possible reason to justify not giving your week 1-4 starting QB a ring.

Are you sure Belk didnt get one? Dabo might have gieven Belk one because he only left due to his sick mother. Once a tiger always a tiger.

I couldn’t imagine this is a serious post? If your employee walks out 3 months into the year do you still give them there end of the year bonus for quitting?

It's really not a bad comparison. It's exactly the same as if an employee works for you for 4 months of the year, then "no shows" the remainder and has announced he moved on to another company before the year ended. Should he still get the year end bonus since he "contributed" from January- April??

gets 5 years to play 4. So if he wanted to have one last year as a starting QB, to comply with the rules KB didn't have a choice after game 4. If someone leaves their job in April and goes to a new company, they can still get a Christmas bonus that same year from their new company. College athletes don't have that opportunity.

Fine, I'll change the comparisons. Should a college student get credit for courses he didn't complete? Also you're right if Missouri had won the championship after KB enrolled and transferred there he could've got a ring but that didn't happen.

I don't understand how this is either a real discussion or a controversy. Love him or hate him, the man left the team 4 games into the season. To me it is simple - he left the team. He wasn't injured. He wasn't red-shirted. He was not part of the team that won the championship. If they gave rings 4 games into the season he would get one.

Well KB did beat TAM and if he had stayed Chase would have never won the Cuse game
So that’s 2 losses averted, all because of KB.
