SEC had 10 teams before they went to 12 and divisions in the 90's. For many years they only played 7 conference games too so Georgia had to miss someone in the SEC each year while they played Clemson and SCAR every year out of conference. Also, GT was a huge rival to Tenneseee up until 80's when they stopped playing every year. I'm guessing Tech has played UT as much as UGA has over time.
