Has anyone else heard this bama rumor?

I work with a bama booster, and he says that bama knew kiffen was more than likely going to bolt after this season and that the plan was for sarkisian to take over as OC. However, he said that sarkisian got hammered and made an a$$ of himself in Atlanta after the sec championship game and that he is now not going to get the gig.

I did suspect that they brought Sarkisian along expecting that Kiffin might be on his way out. But, don't have any proof as it was just a suspicion. And, have no info of Sarkisian's exploits.

Heard that. Wouldn't be surprised. Not sure why he would be the guy unless they just run the same offense. Bama is becoming a rehab center for talented coaches under Saban. Good for him.

personally I don't think he leaves - gets the $$$ at bama without any stress. He knows he's on easy street with the talent that floats in... not much development needed. imo.

The knowing Kiffin was gone part is 100% true. I've also heard that something is up with Sark, but I think it might be blown out of proportion. The bottom line is that Alabama is looking outside the program to fill the OC position.
