Hunter Johnson

I think Dabo may start KB this Friday but as soon as we get the game in control don't be surprised to see HJ come in. It's time that he gets some playing time given how good a QB he's supposed to be. I'm pulling for him.

That's exactly how I feel with all this hunter Johnson stuff. I've never seen someone get so much attention for leading a 30 yard td drive against Wake freaking forest.

I only get excited because it's good to know that Clemson has excellent backup options. But I do want to see KB back out there tomorrow night.

^^^ Actually, it was 37 yards, 4-for-4, and a TD. So yeah - I like that. But I guess I get excited when I see great talent going against arguably the 2nd best defense in the ACC.

I went back and charted each pass , not an expert just curious, and ALL of HJ passes were where they needed to be, he was smooth, and didnt look nervous.
ZC on the other hand put balls on receivers but upfield toward dbs alot of times. Not 2 mention the 2 passes he under threw by at least 5 yds on each. Thought he looked nervous too.
I think HJ is ahead.

The last depth chart had Cooper and Johnson listed as even behind Bryant.
It said: Bryant Cooper or Johnson

It is fine to play Johnson as long as not done prematurely!

Hunter looked good last week in limited action. Decisive and quick. And five for five with a TD is certainly a good start. GoooooooooTigers!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure if he will be better than Bentley though. Needs to grow his forehead a little bit

Could not agree more. Every time he has been in it's with a mixture of several different level of players. He has never had the opportunity to show his talent with the starters.
