Dabo may not be the best pure football coach around

but I would rather have a man like him leading Clemson than anyone like Spurrier. Dabo leads his team with positive energy, passion, and morals. Spurrier on the other hand leads with negativity. When they win it's because of him, and when they lose the blame is thrown on his players. He is a complete egomaniac. Dabo will probably never win as many games as Spurrier, but he is a heck of a lot better man than Spurrier could ever dream about being. Anyone who wants to bash Dabo because of his enthusiasm for life, football, and Clemson should take a step back and realize that he is not only producing pretty good results on the field, he is teaching these kids life lessons and how to carry yourself with dignity and class. If our players taunted and mouthed off after every play like the Coots I would be embarrassed.

dabo is a lot better football coach than we give him credit for , and he is getting ready to win a lot of games over the next few years...i think he will be at clemson for a long time , long after spurrier has called it quits at sc

As a forty years plus Tiger fan, I had rather lose with Dabo's class than win with the ball sack's smirk and ego. He is one #### ant that I dispise.

Man it's nice to read a positive post about our head coach! We as Clemson fans, alumni, students, etc, should always try to remember why we consider ourselves superior to SCar...and half of it has to do with what kind of people we are. Remember what school we represent the next a coot tries to drag you to their level. Go Tigers!

Dabo short. Because of his personality and his tremendous success as a recruiter, it doesn't mean he isn't a good "pure" football coach; I think he is. Also, he started his head coaching career at 38, 4 years younger than Spurrier, so he could very easily win more games than him.
I agree completely though about Spurrier and Dabo's character, and I wouldn't take that turd Spurrier over Dabo under any circumstances.

who say Dabo is a great [insert adjective here] but not a good "pure" (or whatever) football coach.
In reality, he's doing everything a good football coach should be expected to do, plus his COACHING accomplishments exceed any of the coaches we've had for over two decades.
I just don't get some of these guys.

I agree. I like Dabo. The main advantage of having someone like Spurrier or Saban is that the administration leaves them alone and they get to run the show without top down interference.
