Hypothetical question regarding Dexter.

If Dexter Lawrence doesn’t want to go out like this or thinks that this could hurt his draft stock in the NFL, could he theoretically redshirt in 2019 and play in 2020, or does a suspension for PEDs eat up one year of eligibility?

By the way, I’m very close to 2000 points if anyone wants to help a Tiger brother out.

The punishment is you lose a year of eligibility via a 1 year suspension. If the appeal is lost he would be forced to burn a year of eligibility. You get to use 4 out of 5 years for eligibility purposes (hence the redshirt rule). He has used 3 years and his suspension would count as his 4th year. This would end his college career. Would hate for it to end like this for him.

He would lose the year of eligibility next year which would exhaust his. You have 5 years to play 4 and he’s already played 3 and next year would count as his 4th
