How's the crowd in NOLA today?

Dec 31, 2017, 7:00 PM

Hearing some Bama fans concerned their turnout isn't going to be as good as it should be. Any of you watching ticket sales got any updated predictions?

Think most have been expecting 60/40 Bama/Clemson

Just got in 2 hours ago and I have seen a ton of Orange already. Not getting too excited yet, I think most of the Bama crowd drives in tomorrow. Still predicting an even split or slight edge to Bama.

They're starting to "Roll" in

NOLA being kinda close, look for them to roll in tomorrow.

Having a good time watching the Saints game with the locals though!

Go Tigers AND Tiger Nation(Al Champs!)!

The greyhounds from Tuscaloosa will arrive at 6:30 or so.

They did the same thing in Tampa. It’ll be 50/50 at kickoff.

Spent the morning in the Quarter. Probably 3:1

Lots of Orange. For what it’s worth Uber drives reporting Clemson fans have been here for couple of days. Not as many Bama.

Cold!!! Just got back in and thawing out. A lot more Bama today then yesterday. Fun talking to them, most i have talked to have a very healthy respect for us and enjoy the rivalry we have developed. And have had 4 or 5 of them ask me for a two dollar bill to boot, they love them!

More Tiger fans at our hotel but Bama fans have been pretty nice. I had the pleasure of meeting a guy who was Bart Starr's center in 1952. Thought it was interesting that his playing weight was 210. My, how times have changed!!

Actually I am surprised that he would have even been that big back then.

On a side note, if you ever watch shows from the 1950's the people they call heavy would be on the skinny side today.

If we out number them at the game it will speak to their opinion of their team. I think if it's 50/50 it would be something that is not only noticeable but could play a factor. The expectation is that BAMA should have a decided crowd advantage.
