1 Eubanks slicing and dicing and carving.....coots could not tell a slice from a dice or a carve. Standing ovation for a great performance. When taken out he reminded me of a Roman soldier returning home from a victorious war when he walked off that mound.

2 Wilson's throw from the outfield to third after diving, stoping the ball, jumping up and sending a frozen rope to Renwick for the tag at third. Coot coach advice "don't make third out at third." And by the way it ain't cheating for a second baseman to play shallow right field. Coach Lee knows.

3 Rudy Cox....well his name is Rudy. Clutch hit for the man. There was no joy in cooterville. The roar of the DKS crowd was awesome. What a way to come up strong. Rudy, Rudy, Rudy.

4 Bostic.....oh Lord. Where do I start. Smoking coming out of the mountain top. Seams on the baseball were whistling like runaway locomotive. Curve ball was so wicked the devil would flee like a scared chicken.

5 DKS crowd....exceeded expectations, loud and supportive, sold out, students everywhere, old people thinking like teens, smiles galore, ......

PS.....all the fast food joints are loaded with chicken after this series.

Re: did it rain in Columbia SC Sunday night

I saw the water pouring down Gervias street Sunday night. Did it rain hard or did a water main break? From what I hear the water is still flowing and I wonder if one should build an Ark. Surely a baseball game cannot cause this much sobbing, crying and tears.
