How does PJ Hall compare to Milton Jennings?

I know Milton was a 5 star, but do you think Hall seems to be just about as good?

Milton was probably one of Clemson's best prospect in a long while He just played in the wrong system.

So Hall isn't quite on Milton's level?

Is that what you're saying? I don't follow much high school basketball.

I don't follow much high school basketball either, so I don't know that much about Hall. But Milton was 6'9" and better suited to play in a half-court system, not the "Run and Gun" offense Oliver Purnell ran. Milton would have had a lot more success under Brad so maybe Hall will be a better fit for the coaching style.

He played the majority of his career under Brownell.

Congrats to Brownell not finishing second for a big time recruit.

He came in as a 5* but played as a 3* so I hope Hall is better.

Milton was a little *higher* in terms of recruiting ranking and mental state

I knew this comparison question would come up..

Night and day basically.
Milton played in low independent league in S.C. maybe the poorest competition in the states.
Hall plays in the highest public league ball, 5 in the state.
Also Milton had good stretch 4 skill but was not a very smart player. Hall has a lot of stretch 4 skill as Milton but is a very smart player. A really good passer too, something Milton was not.

Plus, Hall come from what is clearly the best high school in SC, producing such greats Anthony "Sir Jenk" Jenkins, Adam Humphries, Charone Peake and, of course, 8992Tiger.

Hall isn’t rated quite as highly as Jennings was

but as we all saw, Milton’s 5 star status was not correct.
Hall has much better skills in my opinion. He truly is “Mr. Fundamental.” He can post up on either block and also shoot jumpers coming off of picks. He is the perfect Browbell big man: skilled player with smarts, who really understands the game very well for someone who is still in high school.
