Lutzy/Holtzie story: Wife-of met Lou Holtz at an airport

restaurant a few years ago. Hostess seated her right next to his table and they started chatting.
She said she was a Clemson fan and he said how much they loved living in South Carolina. Didn't mention the school.

This was offseason, not long after he had been on the ESPN CFb Final show. Said he didn't work overnight jobs anymore so he could be home to take care of ailing wife.

Pulls out ND branded crown-royal type velvet bags full of various vitamins and starts popping some. Proudly showed wife-of (nurse) a wound on his arm that was bandaged up.

He ordered steak, well done. When he asked for ketchup and the waitress looked at him cockeyed, he said "Kethup, you know, the red thtuff?".

After he ate, he paid for wife's meal and meal of bama fan who had sat on other side of him.
