Regulating a few big players will be easier in the long term and add legitimacy to the process. My guess is typical corrupt politics the State level will create a quagmire - discrepancies between States and higher juice - 15% to 20%.

South Carolina will be one of the last States to have it.

They only allow gambling if they are the one making the money.

This is huge. This state (sc) has really been lacking in ways for adults to spend money they do not have on something that will definitely change their financial future for the better.

Kids and home mortgages everywhere are cheering this decision.

But your right, if the state can regulate it and get their cut, it will all be ok.
