Lions just got called for a bogus penalty at a critical time that very well probably cost them the game.

One phantom hands to the face penalty on a sack on 3rd down that extended a packers drive and one missed pi on 3rd down that would have extended a lions drive.....the lions have absolutely gotten the shaft.
I've started to really dislike rodgers....seems like a prima donna.

I’ve been wondering for a while if the proliferation of sports gambling has morphed into sports gambling impacting the results of games. Especially Pro Football.

Uhh....refs on the take and points shaving by players is not a new concept. Not saying it happened here but that's been going on since...well...forever.

No, I’m not kidding. I’ve been watching blown calls since the early 70’s, but I’m seeing 2 major differences nowadays.
1. You can’t watch a sports show without hearing about “the line”. That didn’t used to be the case.
2. Not all blown calls are created equal. Some are extremely difficult to see and I’ll give a pass on those. But I’m now seeing blown calls of 2 different varieties that to me used to be rare. Type 1 is, the “phantom call”. It didn’t happen, but it got called anyway
Type 2 is, the obvious egregious call that is NOT made. The “I’ve gone blind” no call.

Didn’t used to see those. Now I’m hearing about, the line, the line, the line and I’m seeing these unexplainable calls and yeh, I’m wondering. Seems to me that the questionable stuff is increasing. It looks fishy.

For the record, I couldn’t care less about the Lions or the Packers.......but it still looks fishy.
