5-Head said the same thing but he added a National Championship will occur during his tenure. Now he is playing for somebody else with no promises kept.

I guess this has replaced “wait till next year” which was the coots yearly response to annual beat downs.

From “wait till next year” to “never again”
These people would learn to #neveragain buy season tickets if they had any sense.

It’s all kinda comforting really. I look at it this way. If the day ever arrives when the coots aren’t flapping theirs beaks, I hope we all have our affairs in order. Cuz that’s the day when the zombie apocalypse arrives.

But if they never bought season tickets, they wouldn't get to have sex in the parking lot with their wives/girlfriends/others/drunken strange homeless wandering women...

Takes no risk whatsoever saying that, at least for a year

He's effectively got a 1-year grace period, as SCar's 2020 schedule sets up for 6 or 7 wins next year with nearly no effort whatsoever; they could win several of those games with a fire hydrant at QB. They could very well start the season 4-0 as their schedule is front-loaded with soft teams. Their fans are going to be bored out of their minds in September.

6-wins at best and they'll need some luck to do that.

They're starting the season with five likely losses (Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, Florida and Clemson) which means they'll have to win all three of their toss-up games against Tennessee, Missouri, and Kentucky.
Coastal, ECU, Wofford and Vandy are the only sure wins on their schedule.

One thing the SCar team can typically rely on is getting lucky at least once. They frequently beat a team they shouldn't--usually UGA or Tennessee. They may even have a shot at TAMU this year (TAMU plays at Auburn the week before travelling to Columbia, while SCar has a bye week), although I'm not sure how good TAMU is projected to be.
I think they'll probably split Mizzou and UK. Hoping they'll lose both, but I don't see it.

While I appreciate his bravado and the way he and his family have carried on through such tragedy , the facts the California Hilinski's may not understand are these :
1. South Carolina Football is not your friend 2. That losing tradition you've bought into isn't a recent trend 3. Your supporting cast of teammates and coaches aren't capable of playing or coaching to the level that will get you to any championships you might covet .

Hes the team leader, he cant say "Im never gonna beat Clemson". If he did, everyone would lose respect for him. Its fun to sass #### fans, but Im not going to criticize kids for doing what they should.

Is Hillinski entering the transfer portal too! Seems like the last QB who said that ended up missing a year due to a foot injury (??????) then transferred out to some where in Colorado!
