For those complaining about LSU fans, I am equally disappointed in some Clemson fans.

I guess I’m that old guy now. But I saw Clemson fans getting so drunk they didn’t even know where their seats were which almost led to a fight. Another Clemson fan got punched by security. Not sure why. I guess I just have to get used to the f word. It doesn’t brother me much anymore after hearing it every other word in the military but it does bother me for my son 14, and for the 5 or 6 year old behind me. That being said I’m not going for some culture change. It is what it is unfortunately. My point is you mix any fan with too much alcohol (not picking on those who know when to slow down) and people aren’t their best. Of course I was in a Clemson section so not many LSU fans. But I saw more Clemson fans being rude and arrogant especially in that first quarter than vice versa. But I would imagine those Clemson fans sitting in LSU sections have a different story. Of course most of the Clemson fans were exceptional and not this way. It is the minority but there are some in every bunch. Interestingly there were more people talking trash before the game than afterwards. Most of the LSU fans afterwards were actually complementary and recognized that we would be back.

There are just some people who you can dress up but you cant take anywhere. It is a growing element of society generally and maybe w our fan base which would be disappointing

Don't you want alcohol sales in Death Valley?***

I’m indifferent I suppose, wish people would be a touch more responsible

It's the people, not the beer.

They sell beer at Darlington races. Been to many races there over the years. I have never seen a fight at a Darlington race. Saw ONE in a parking lot at Darlington, ONCE. Seen probably 30+ fights INSIDE Death Valley over the years, and more than that in parking lots. Far more drunks at Clemson games. That 2013 night game against FSU where we got killed by Jameis Winston was probably the worst display of drunkenness I've ever seen at Clemson, at least since the 80's when we played UGA.

2012 USuC was the worst I've seen DV.***

You just have not been at the right place at the right time. Darlington has quite a few fights. So does Atlanta, and every other track.

Closest I've been to getting into a fight in a football

Jan 14, 2020, 11:01 AM

stadium was at a USC game in the coackroach. And if it actually happened, it would have been with a Clemson fan. Me and about 4 other Clemson fans almost pounced on an obnoxious Clemson fan sitting behind us. Cooler heads prevailed and security escorted him out.

Just so happens to be a USC couple sitting next to him. We apologized, but they were better sports about it than we were, that's for sure.

The only fight (more like hit twice and knock out) I have been in at a football game was in death valley with another Clemson fan. He was drunk and obnoxious. The final straw was when he spilled his zip loc bag of jack daniels down my girlfriends back and then told her to "chill bit.h".

At least he didn't puke down her back

Happened next to us this past season. Wife and 3 kiddos were sitting there. Bunch of drunk kids evidently got their dad's tickets and went to the game. Next game dad got an earful.
