Clemson QB commit Hunter Johnson is ranked #3 overall and Chase Brice falls out of the top 11 rankings.

Everything I've heard from other observers has Hunter Johnson as the best QB there. Either way the kid is an absolute baller and close to a Deshaun-level player

But because of the amount of success DW4 has had/continuing to have, every QB that comes through here will be compared to him

DW4. They aren't similar. DW is a one man wrecking crew who carries a team on his back. Hunter Johnson will run a great team well and be solid himself. Watson is once in a lifetime and at a different level.

They aren't all that different but I would say that Deshaun put up the same numbers in high school for 3 years that he did last year at Clemson. Johnson is more fundamentally sound and probably a little faster. He I think is more comparable to Marcus mariota than DW is.

Ppl need to understand that as good as DW4 is there will be others to come alone that will potentially be as good as DW4. Our system allows QBs to put up major numbers. I think going forward hunter, Z, and brice will be playing behind better OLs than what DW did even though our OL is getting better each yr.

We shouldn't be comparing who's better, but instead be thankful we are landing high character kids that happens to be elite level qbs.

He didn't compare his skill-set to DW4.

Comparing his potential seems reasonable. Johnson is ranked just as high or higher at this stage than DW4 was.

How far have we came that we that we have the #1 qb in the country and we are saying what he can't be. From the film I've seen I have hope that in our system he can be the next DW. Some of you act like having another great qb is somehow a knock on Watson I just don't get it. Hope recruits don't waste time reading this gibberish.
