The Heisman is just another area where ESPN constantly tilts the narrative in favor of the SEC.

I only count 4 players from teams that were in the ACC at the time that have won that popularity award starting in 1980. 4 players in 40 years.

The first of them was a Coot. George Rogers. 1980

The second was actually a pretty good guy, Charlie Ward. 1993

The third was 28 years old at the time. Chris Weinke. 2000

The fourth was a crableg thief. Jameis Winston. 2013

Not exactly a stellar list.
