Dabo dreams the “impossible” (Long)

When I was a teenager going through some difficult times, my Mom made me memorize the attached poem. I can still recite it, word for word, 35+ years later, and I still pull it out of the memory bank every now and then. It is 100+ years old, but gives me great inspiration when I am discouraged or doubted.

To me, Dabo personifies this poem. Just a few things that “couldn’t be done”:

1) Walk on at receiver at Alabama
2) Become a major college head coach without first being a coordinator
3) Overcome SOS and the 5 bomb
4) Replace Florida State as the flagship program of ACC football
5) Win 5 straight ACC Championships
6) Make the College Football Playoff; then 2-3-4-5 in a row
7) Beat Alabama and win the National Championship, then 2 out of 3

What else “can’t” Dabo do? Back to back natties, 3 out of 4? #1 recruiting class?
