...and his defense is like a sympathy, everybody doing what they're supposed to, when they're supposed to do it. Outside of the one bust that allowed Dillon to score, our D was flawless.

BTW, Tanner Muse set the tone early when he separated the BC tight end from the ball on the Eagles' third play from scrimmage, forcing a punt. Very cool.

There's a lot of talk about this year being Venables' best coaching job after losing the number of starters that he did. The truth is that he did mush of the coaching of this year's defense all last year by giving them the opportunity to play when they deserved to play and then coaching them on their results. It is one of the huge benefits of Dabo's philosophy of playing as many as you can early and often so they're ready when their time comes.
