Yep. He last minute changed a visit to GT so he could officially visit us. We offered, and 3 days later he's ready to announce.

All eyes are on whether the Tigers are about to sneak a fourth in the back door.

Columbia (S.C.) Lower Richland combo guard Clyde Trapp Jr. used what is expected to be his final official visit on Clemson this past weekend.

We reported last weekend that Trapp had added the visit in lieu of an official to Georgia Tech, which had him as the top uncommitted wing on its board.

Trapp (6-4, 196) took official visits to South Carolina and Charlotte the previous two weekends.

There had been some question as to when during the early signing period Trapp would decide because of the late proceedings.

We reported following his unofficial visit last month that Clemson was the offer Trapp was thought to want.

Trapp has an offer on the table, and there is reason to believe he could announce as soon as Wednesday.

We like Clemson’s chances of pulling off the late coup.
