Great article.

Interesting perspective on how the focus on branding outweighs any emphasis on recruiting prowess. Dabo has always been a great recruiter, but when he took over and focused on branding Clemson "All In", "Best is the standard", and the "Clemson Family" everything picked up speed.

I think the end of the article missed a very important part of Clemson's brand. Everyone does try to sell Family, but you can't beat Clemson head to head in that area.

As you know, all families are not the same. We are fortunate that our coach has fostered a loving, caring, "got your back" atmosphere while our neighbors downstream seem to have a what's mine is mine, stab you in the back type family relationship. Their graph placement also shows that money can't buy love.
Having Wilkins and the returning crew on the sidelines cheering the younger guys on during the second half is bound to have an immeasurable effect on the Tiger teams for years to come. It's a respect building respect scenario that isn't taught, but learned nonetheless.

We are severely over performing for how much revenue we are bringing in. We need to sign a big TV deal or something

and his staff are. This article shows that we are getting a lot of bang for our buck, and that Dabo and staff have been working their tails off to create our unique brand.
