Neither the time nor energy to explain fuel efficiencies & emissions

But one would think that most college graduates could understand that all renewables (wind, solar and hydro) along with nuclear have significantly lower emissions than fossil fuels.
(Some may even figure outs that natural gas is a preferred hydrocarbon for thermal oxidation / fuel for combustion compared to coal or oil.)
Directionally it’s really not that hard.

When electricity end of line use is only 3-5% efficient it's not that good.
When looking at total energy expenditure, EVs aren't as good as you'd think. I've seen studies show EVs better and EVs worse. Especially when you factor in the damage done mining rare earth metals.
I have ZERO issue with US cars going EV, but let's not claim they are so much better for the environment.

There are were some interesting articles around about wind power turbines blades and how much land fill space they take up when they've run their course and need to be replaced. It's a challenge to day the least. As of now the blades can't be recycled. Makes me think that wind power isn't worth it!
