Best advice for Auburn game?

Jul 1, 2016, 12:49 AM

I was thinking about going to Auburn game but noticing rooms in area are pricey. Any suggestions on where to stay? What do you all suggest?

Hotel accommodations on football weekends at Auburn are apparently very similar to Clemson, not so good. You'll have to pay a premium price to stay in Auburn. So there's also Columbus GA and Montgomery AL that can handle some of the overflow similar to Anderson and Greenville do for Clemson, but also not the most convenient. There are also notels at interstate exits headed back towards Atlanta. Just have to balance how much you're willing to pay, how far you're willing to drive after a late game, and how important the quality of the room is to you.

Stay in Columbus, drive to Sam's Club at exit 57 on I-85, take the shuttle to the game and back. Easy

Look into staying in Columbus, GA....Its only about 45 min away but there should be rooms available there...The last time we played there I just drove over from my house in Warner Robins, GA. It was about 2 hours but I wasn't about to pay those ridiculous prices for a hotel room.

Rooms were a little bit cheaper in Columbus at the time...but they were ridiculous around the Auburn campus

Picked up a condo for 5 on VRBO for $400/night

Mile from Jordan Hare. Way cheaper than two rooms in town. I'd periodically check VRBO and Airbnb.

Check AirBnB. You never know. Some good things you'd never

find otherwise.

Found this doing the quickest search i could:
