87 million to put border crossers in hotels?

Mar 30, 2021, 12:31 PM

Has Joe lost his mind ???

Didn’t California try this with their homeless?

That did not go so well for Cali

That works out to $71,000 per person

How much was your stimulus check again?

You’re not Joe’s favorite

I would make them wait on the other side where they came from. That's me though. Didn't they just walk across an entire country or two?

Not let them in in the fist place. Gee whiz, is it that hard?

And, what about the poor children just one mile, two miles, 100 miles across the border. Why are not equally concerned with them?

I'll tell you why...because the people that control your mind want VOTERS in this country. They could care less about the welfare of anyone. The truth hurts.

Except the adults can't vote sooooo....***

They can't vote for a very long time, so I assume you mean someday way down the road if it all works out.

I've wondered if the Pubs agreed to a path to citizenship

Mar 30, 2021, 6:01 PM

with the exception that the new citizens couldn't vote - if the Dems would accept that...

Re: I've wondered if the Pubs agreed to a path to citizenship

Mar 30, 2021, 7:20 PM

Of course not. Once you are a US citizen you have Constitutional rights. Why would anyone agree to that on either side? Of course they shouldn't able to vote while they are on their path to citizenship, but once they are citizens they have rights.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Well - as a compromise. Pubs aren't going to agree to a path

Mar 30, 2021, 10:37 PM

to citizenship. They'll want the illegals to go back home and then come into the US legally.

Fly them back from whence they came - which is

supposedly what the previous admin did.

These kids are tough, they'll be fine. Keep in mind they have supposedly just walked alone from Honduras. (Which is the same as walking from Clemson to Kansas City.) I say that kiddingly because most of their parents are just over the Mexican border.

should really help stimulate a struggling hospitality industry, and I bet these people know to tip the staff housekeeping too.
