I feel the complete opposite way...

Wandavision early episodes were the best and then the later episodes became more "traditional" Marvel Movie style of "by the numbers" comic-book movie. Marvel does the formula the best and I've enjoyed all their movies but I liked them going a little outside the numbers with the early episodes of Wandavision. I like them playing against expectations and type. I still liked wandavision's last episodes but they weren't nearly as interesting as the first few episodes. (note: In a somewhat related topic, Doom Patrol is probably the best 'Superhero' show going right now and it's weird as hell)

Falcon/Winter Soldier is much more "by the numbers" Marvel and while I'm enjoying it, it's a bit stale and doesn't work episodically. These are not that interesting of characters and I'd put it pretty low on my list of Marvel movies/shows. I can rewatch pretty much any Marvel movie, but I'm having a hard time seeing any desire to return to rewatch Falcon/Winter Soldier. But we still have 2 episodes so maybe that'll change.

I do think there is probably a strong correlation between liking/disliking the first few episodes of Wandavision and your enjoyment of Falcon/Winter Soldier.

which is why I liked it much more than Falcon/Winter Soldier.

I also think they are trying to do different things within the MCU. Falcon/Winter Soldier was supposed to come out first before the Pandemic and it's much more of a character builder while Wandavision was more ambitious in that it had to serve to character build Wanda, Vision, their relationship AND setup for the next phase of the marvel movies (Dr. Strange) so it felt more substantive to me, which, along with the weirdness, maybe affected me more in a positive way.

I have liked the storyline and commentary that's going on with the new Captain America in F&WS though. Marvel getting a bit "darker" in their storylines/characters can be seen as ambitious too. I think the success of infinity war/end game probably has given them a large leeway to go that way and I'm here for it.
