Reason I don't watch basketball.

The referee and his whistle. It is unreal how much they stop play over minor fouls. There is no reason to stop play over 2 players jersey touching the other on the side of court away from the ball, given unless 1 player establishes an advantage by the contact. Basketball is a great sport when the referees let a little contact slide, especially down in the paint. 1 player getting roughed up while driving down low should not result in 2 uncontested shots from the free throw line either.

I sure do not agree!! IMHO the game IS MUCH TOO TOUGH now! they palm the ball, travel, push.. just not basketball now.. they have turned a great game into and moving wrestling match!! HOWEVER, I sure agree that the officials have WAY TO MUCH control over the outcome..some refs have been proved to favor some teams and that is WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ACC officials should be banned from officiatng anything---in any sport.
The idiot, Ron Cherry and his group are the worst refs in college football.
The basketball refs are a bad joke.
