Fiesta Bowl via Las Vegas

Dec 13, 2019, 11:35 AM

Would anyone be interested in renting a small (12-15 passenger) van to take to the game from Las Vegas?

We have 2-3 persons in our group and looking for others. Tiger fans only (may allow a single OSU fan if we have to).

Call, Tmail, or TXT.....919-710-1431.

The road trip from Vegas to Glendale is NO picnic! It’s about a seven hour drive through complete “nothingness”

As for me, I couldn’t wait to see the desert. Hours of nothingness!

Nothingness? Sounds like OSU's offense against us.

It is not 7 hours. Did it when we made the 1st title game that year. It was like 4 hours. I remember the line outside a convenience store on the hwy when the jackpot was like 1B

We went to the same store. Remember they were selling lottery tickets and had a line a block long. There was a guy guarding the place with a 45. Served the biggest biscuits known to man. Yes it was a 4 hour drive not 7

4 hours. I did it in January 2016 and doing it again

December 27th. Beautiful drive. But yea, it’s a desolate drive.

Dec 13, 2019, 11:39 AM

me and brother did round trip from Vegas for 2015 finals, about the worst drive ever going back to Vegas

we lost, he passed out, I was tired as ####, and the car kept telling me that I was too tired to drive and should take a break

somehow we survived

no, not interested

We took the trip from Las Vegas to Phoenix. Stopped and had breakfast on the way. Rented a 15 passenger van from the airport. 10 of us had a wonderful time. Yes, we lost! Most likely the best football game I ever attended. Yes it was a long trip back to Las Vegas. Yes I would do it again in a heartbeat if my wallet wasn’t so empty from the last 4 years

If you get to Vegas you can fly round trip $80

When we played Bama in Glendale the first time there were several charter busses from Vegas to Glendale round trip to and from the game. Fever set one up that my family was on. It was about 4 hours, I think. Easy for passengers, we slept coming back.

somewhere in the desert of Northern Arizona there

Dec 13, 2019, 8:27 PM

Is a Clemson car flag that blew off my rental car in January of 2016. I suggest stopping at the radio tower in Nothing, Arizona. Population 1.
Great drive but you better be ready for extreme desolation. Making the same drive December 27th.
