3rd quarter offense

Nobody has mentioned anything about the fact that the Syracuse coach's outburst seemed to have an effect on Dabo. It may have been the reason the offense played so flat and conservatively in the third quarter. Personally I wish they would have come out with the pedal down like FSU, Oregon etc. That is what pollsters pay attention to these days. We will need that type of swagger vs. FSU, Ga. Tech, and USC!

What 'cuse coach said before halftime about Dabo had absolutely nothing to do with our poor performance starting up the 3rd quarter.

The players probably got a little too comfortable and slack during the halftime break and came out cold. We did finish the first half with a failed attempt to score in the red zone...

when they stopped us there, it seemed to deflate our offense for a while,too.

Following the play, I told friends, "Dabo must know what the FSU score was and is trying to inflate the numbers." They thought I was crazy. Maybe I was...maybe not.
