Tigers close out doubleheader sweep of Winthrop

After taking game one of the day, 9-0, the Clemson softball team completed the mid-week doubleheader sweep over Winthrop, hitting four home runs and taking game two by a score of 6-2. Stellar performance by Valerie Cagle in game one No Hitter !!! Offense was hitting on all cylinders in both games with the bats. Lady Tigers are taking care of business and are doing.very well under Coach Rittman. Go Lady Tigers!!!

Was hoping she'd have a perfect game. She will before her career is over. They're on fire and fun to watch. Coach has made all the difference... First game they kept the pressure on the defense and it showed. Their plate approach is well oiled and coached.
