I'm super excited we offered VanSumeren. He reminds me of Grady Jarrett in that he's most definitely under-rated, yet shows dominance in his game. He also reminds me a bit of Bryan Bresee because he's just so dang dominant in his HS tape.

If you watch his Junior highlights they (laughably) list him as DL and RB. They even include tape of him running the ball (goal line package type deal), AND him running a route and catching a deep pass. Ain't no way Alex VanSumeren is getting recruited as a running back. He is a large man that will dominate on the DL in college.

I'm really hoping he considers playing for Coach BV. He can be special. He's an athlete in a DT body. BV will get him to the next level. He would be a major pickup for the Tigers.
