amateur at The Masters this year. There are only 3 amateurs entered. Must be another effect of this Covid crapola.

Another effect is a reduced field. Only 88 guys teeing it up ,according to the Master's website. Two notable absentees are Rickie( or Ricky ,whichever way he spells it) who failed to qualify and of course Tiger, who is recovering from the car accident.

qualifying tournaments or what, but yes, the number is usually much higher than three.

There have been years where no amateur made the cut, or only one did. That would be a sweet experience, knowing you had Low Amateur locked up, and still got to play two more rounds on that magnificent shrine of a golf course.

You can't explain to someone who has never been there, just how beautiful and totally manicured that place is. TV doesn't do it justice at all, even though it looks lush on TV.

You forgot the possibility of 2 or 3 tying for low amateur..... changes the odds for winning low amateur.
