winning The Masters this year was diminished as soon as the opening pairings were announced. He loves to play quick, and you can already tell, watching early coverage right now of the second round, Scottie Scheffler, one of his playing partners, is slow as next week. Waiting on him to hit every shot is already driving Phil crazy.

I agree. I'm a huge Phil fan and he has been talking about maintaining focus going into tournaments now a days. I'm sure playing with a slow group doesnt help. Also he just needs to make routine shots instead of attempting something wild but we know how he likes to play.

off that he was literally standing behind Scheffler like he was in the starting blocks, and had several false starts while Scheffler went through his agonizingly slow preshot routine. He even backed off, and got his yardage book out again, looking it over while Phil was not so patiently waiting, ON HIS TEE SHOT. I half expected Phil to crown him in the head with the driver to get him off the tee. :)
