The term lady or ladies denotes a societal status and not a gender in case you were not aware. So the terms lady or ladies or girls or gals is disrespectful as the softball players are hard working and talented student athletes. They should be given the same consideration as our baseball or football athletes as the kunckledragger crowd never think it necessary to label those sports based on gender or societal status as its never the Lords of the baseball team or Men's football. Its almost like y'all fell it necessary to make sure everyone knows that softball is a lesser female sport.
