Would you travel to Europe to watch the Tigers?

We're 11 days away from CFB and I can feel it in my bones.
The Cinnamonrolls look to poor gas on the bees in Dublin, Ireland at noon et on 08/24.
I mean, I get why they do it: tryna get more fans globally to watch/buy stuff and make more $.
I know we've played a couple of games in Japan.
When Soccer (goooooooooooal) came don south this summer it was a big hit - The Cola Cockroach had more Liverpool red than they've had Garnett since Slurrier left.
Would you travel to Europe to watch the Tigers?

Personally, I think it's a hard sell unless it's like a Natty. It's so expensive to go over there and I ain't made of $.

I have traveled from near and far to watch the Tigers play...

but those travels have been limited to the US.
Depending upon the timing (and of course the cost), I'd definitely consider traveling to Europe to watch the Tigers play.

No. Even though I could afford the ticket(s) and other cost. I have no need to travel overseas to watch a football game.

More Premier Soccer fans than you might think in the US.
Took my son up to Charlotte to watch one of those international friendlies a few years back and I had never been in that stadium with that many fans.
Now that changed when Clemson and Ga played a few years back.

The stadium is sold out in Dublin for the Aer Lingus Football Classic....47,000 tickets.
It is a good deal for Ireland (increased income) and a good deal for the ACC in terms of visibility.
Maybe the team's travel to Ireland doesn't cost that much more than to Boston or Syracuse.

I’d do it if I knew before and saved up for it. Following us around the south east is already expensive enough. I’m sure a game in Europe would just be that on steroids.

No. Battling HWY 123 and 93 along with ease of parking coupled with great food - tests my allegiance. Flying that long and security for Americans? No.

I wouldn't, but....

... listening to folks who are going to Ireland to the FSU/Clemson game, I can see why some people would.
It's not just the game. Folks are taking a 1 week vacation to Ireland. Ireland tourism (led by Aer Lingus) has apparently developed several tourism packages - sightseeing, golf, etc. I see guys on an FSU message board having discussions and asking for suggestions about what to do and where to go while they are there.
I have no desire to go to Ireland, or anywhere in Europe, for a vacation. But, if I did, I could see where having a football game to go to while I'm there would be a reason so scheudle it around that game.

Looks like some folks are thinking like me. Vacation wrapped around the football game. I doubt very seriously that anybody is flying to Dublin on Friday and then flying back to US on Sunday.

I enjoyed 14 days in Italy...the only negative was the long flights to and fro...
Dublin might be two jumps..Atlanta to NY...Ny to Dublin...shortish compared to the 15 hours from Atlanta to Rome.
