over again wo any safety help? Hartman saw it and went after him time after time. WF coaching staff saw it and exploited it. We had to commit our safeties to the run? With our DL?

Last time I checked it was 11 v 11. I thought we had all this depth. It wasn’t until the 4th Q and 21 straight points that we adjusted and started bringing the safeties back to support the pass. It was bizarre.

Bc when we did try zone or have safety help our s line wasn’t gettin the pressure and they were popping 8-10 yard runs every time … so at some point I think you have to hope your guy makes a play and take those chances instead of just letting them play the numbers game and run the ball down the field the entire game… unfortunately our guys were in position a lot but just never looked back for the ball … which I get on the deeper balls but two of them were in the corner of the end zone and I’m not sure why we never turned with the wr , I mean he has nowhere to go it’s not like he’s running a stop and go to burn you his only option is making the catch. It was hard to watch but I believe in some ways it was good for that group and we will be better bc of it down the road… with that said I think a couple of those plays there was supposed to be safety help and for whatever reason they also busted at the same time bc you don’t see that much press coverage during a game without having help , if there’s no help I think the dbs would have been playing atleast a few yards off
